To all our Phil 'n The Blanks Family and Fans,

After more than seventeen years together, Phil ‘n The Blanks will play our last show at the Los Altos Art and Wine Festival on Sunday, September 26 from 1 to 2:30 PM. Please come out and celebrate with us! 

Phil, the band's lead singer and front man, and his wife Jenny are relocating to Idaho. We’ll be keeping this website and email list alive to keep everyone up to date all of our next musical endeavors, although we may be changing names to protect the innocent, namely Phil and Jenny – LOL! 

And while we’ll miss Phil and his talents immensely, classic rock and the musicians that play the genre will live on. That’s why it’s called “classic rock.” Please join us for our Grand Phil ‘n The Blanks Phinale at the LA Art and Wine Festival, and of course, ROCK ON!

We've sure missed playing for y'all, but thanks to a large rehearsal space, Phil 'n The Blanks have continued to practice - socially distanced, of course! Well, with everything starting to open up, we're excited to ROCK in public again! Our first show in more than 15 months is coming up Wednesday, June 2 at Guglielmo Winery in Morgan Hill. Check the Upcoming Shows tab on this web page for a LOT more dates in the next few months!

Sadly, we had to say "goodbye" to Alan who recently moved to Texas where he's already found new bands to join. But we're also very excited to say "hello" and introduce Nick who has joined PNTB on lead guitar! Nick has tons of experience, fantastic chops and tone and is a very fun guy to hang with - a perfect fit for PNTB!

So bring your dancing shoes and c'mon out to rock with us soon!

A new decade! Unbelievable that it's already 2020. I clearly remember ushering in Y2K and worrying (or not) that I'd have hot water in the morning for a shower. 

Well, believe it or not, Phil 'n The Blanks is starting its SIXTEENTH year of rockin' in the Bay Area. And we'd like to say "thank you" to all of you for supporting us over years. We're very excited as we ring in 2020 as we have a few new surprises up our sleeves for y'all this coming year! Stay tuned...

In the mean time, please come and join us Friday, January 17 at the Pioneer Saloon in Woodside, 9pm and/or Friday, January 31 at Number 1 Broadway in Los Gatos, 9:30 for some high energy rock, Phil 'n The Blanks style, designed to get you up off your feet and dancing!

And if you have a special event coming up that needs the energy and fun that only live music can bring, please give us a shout.

ROCK-tober is here again! After a really fun summer of rockin', the days are getting a little shorter and the weather is getting a little chillier. But PNTB continues to ROCK hotter than ever! 

This summer, we welcomed Matt Padgett to the drum riser to drive the dancing rhythms. We also added some new material, so if you haven't been out to dance to PNTB lately, please join us soon!

Thank you to all of the Phil 'n The Blank phans that came out to RAWK with us at Number 1 Broadway a couple weeks ago! We're excited for 2019 and have a lot of new tunes planned to add to our repertoire. We're playing a few private parties over the next couple of months (we'd LOVE to play one for you!) and have a number of public venues coming up soon including the Cats, Number 1 again and several summer concert series' events. Be sure to come up and say "hi!"

Can you believe it's already October 1st? We've had a GREAT summer rockin' at all our favorite venues this past summer. But we still have some great weather to come, and we hope to see you at an upcoming event. In fact, Phil 'n The Blanks will be rockin' the Redwood City Portfest, Saturday, October 6 from 1:15PM to 3PM. Come out and enjoy the sunshine and great R&R at the harbor. But no, you won't be hearing Yacht Rock from PNTB! Just our regular, high energy classic rock with a few country rock and modern rock tunes added in for fun. Check out our Shows page for details.

Well, after more than a decade, we've decided to refresh the look and feel of the Phil 'n The Blanks website! Still the same fun, high energy classic rock cover band, the same great dance repertoire, but a fresh, more colorful - and dare I say - more playful website. 

We've had a GREAT summer so far, rockin' many of the local summer concert series including Campbell, Los Altos and San Carlos. And we've added a few new tunes, too. If you haven't seen PNTB in a while, please DO come out as i think you're in for a treat.
